Amazing Florence

Eccomi qui per la terza e ultima puntata del mio viaggio a Firenze. Tempo bellissimo e clima gelido. Immancabile il mio look pink, cappotto, borsa e sciarpa, al quale ho abbinato capi casual, per affrontare la giornata in assoluta libertà... 

Ho camminato tutto il giorno. Ho approfittato di questa breve visita in città per visitare la Basilica di San Marco, il suo museo con le opere del Beato Angelico (sfortunatamente molte sono state rimosse per essere restaurate), nonchè le celle affrescate con soggetti evangelici, tra le quali spicca quella del Savonarola. 

E parlando di storia, ma indubbiamente molto più recente, sono riuscita finalmente a vedere la mostra "Il calzolaio Prodigioso" al Museo Ferragamo (visita il museo). Qui ho potuto ammirare le speciali creazioni realizzate appositamente nel corso degli anni per dive di Hollywood e star del jetset internazionale. Il nome Marilyn vi dice qualcosa?

Here I am with the last report of my journey in Florence. The weather was great but freezing.

I was dressed in pink. Coat, shoulder bag and scarf are mixed together with cozy clothes for a really comfy look to walk all day long... 

First I visited The Basilica of San Marco, its museum with Beato Angelico's marvellous masterpieces (unfortunately most of them impossible to watch because of restoration)  and frescoes in monks' cells. Among all the one of Savonarola has a great importance.

Concerning history, most recent of course;) I finally appreciated the exhibit "Il calzolaio Prodigioso" at Ferragamo's Museum (visit the museum). For the first time I had the opportunity to see some of the most amazing creations realized for Hollywood divas and international celebrities during the years. What does the  name Marilyn remind you?

Frivoliciouz in Florence part 2

L'indecisione è stata forte... Coprirmi al massimo per evitare il freddo o affrontare il vento sferzante di questi giorni e indossare un abitino? Lo so, non è facile vedermi in abito o gonna, questo perchè sono una ragazza tendenzialmente pratica che veste per lo più jeans e pantaloni ma nel guardaroba ho un sacco di capi più femminili.

Un viaggetto a Firenze mi è sembrata l'occasione adatta per indossarli. Archiviata la mini tuta a disegni optical di Jovonna (la vedrete prossimamente sul blog) ho deciso di indossare un mini abito di Givenchy di qualche anno fa. E' semplicissimo, un capo passepartout da abbinare sia a tacchi che a scarpe più informali. In questo caso eccomi con i miei comodissimi mocassini maschili di Valentino.

Ok!!! Adesso sono pronta per lasciarmi incantare dalle meraviglie di questa città! ;)

A very strong indecision... Is it better to cover myself with warm clothes or face the driving wind of these days and wear a dress? I perfectly know it's not ordinary to see me wearing dresses or skirts, this is because I generally use comfortable garments like jeans and trousers but my closet is full of very many feminine clothes too.

A little journey in Florence is the right occasion to wear them except for my new optical Jovonna shortalls (very soon on the blog), it's too cold for it. Here I am with my Givenchy little black dress bought some years ago but still very actual. It's so simple and chic, perfect with high heels or flat shoes like my Valentino patent leather loafers for example. 

Well, now I'm ready to wander around this amazing city! ;)

Gocce di pioggia su di me... La passeggiata più corta e bagnata della mia vita. Tutto quello che ci vuole per affrontare una giornata così? Un paio di jeans, scarpe comode, la nuova giacca di Zara azzurra (la adoro) e un cappotto caldo caldo come la pelliccia di visone di Simonetta Ravizza presa in prestito da mia madre ;)

Urban Safari

Black, white leopard and a touch of color... Frivoliciouz in Milan

Venerdì mi sono svegliata con una carica in più... Sarà perchè avevo la giornata completamente libera, sarà perchè ho ricevuto un regalo di Natale in anticipo e ho deciso di scartarlo al volo ;)

I miei mocassini di vernice di Valentino sono un sogno e dovevo assolutamente indossarli (grazie papà, erano proprio quelli che volevo!)

Come punto di partenza per strutturare il look sono partita proprio dai mocassini, ho ricreato un outfit maschile con pantalone skinny alla caviglia, t-shirt bianca e giacca smoking. E per finire? La splendida pelliccia vintage di leopardo anni '70, un cimelio di famiglia e la Birkin arancio di Hermes. Voilà!!!

Great time last Friday, I woke up with a lot of energy... No work and first Christmas gift under the tree, already unwrapped ;)
My Valentino patent leather loafers are magnificent and as you can see I've fitted them immediately (thanks dad, you've granted my wish!)
I've created the look of the day starting from my new shoes, a male outfit with skinny pants, a simple white t-shirt and a tuxedo jacket. And to complete the outfit? An heirloom: my vintage leopard fur coat from the seventies, and obviously, my Hermes orange Birkin. Voilà!

Le vacanze sono ormai giunte al termine e io ho fatto ritorno alla base.

Come anticipato sono tornata carica di foto della vacanza appena trascorsa e dei luoghi scoperti. Qualche immagine è stata anticipata su Facebook e Instagram, le altre non mi resta altro che condividerle con voi con l'augurio di poter scappare il prima possibile, salire su un altro volo per un'altra avventura... Chissà, magari questo accadrà molto presto.

Holidays are already over and I'm back home.

As disclosed I have returned with many images concerning my last vacation and all the discovered places. I already anticipated some snapshots on Facebook and Instagram but I'd like to share the most part with you, hoping to run away again as soon as possible, catch another flight and start a new adventure... Who knows, maybe it will happen very soon.

 Mi è stato chiesto cosa indossavo durante la serata "A Star Night" di Mercedes: mea culpa! Ero così intenta a immortalare l'evento e l'atmosfera che si assaporava che ho completamente scordato di fotografare il mio look. Mi faccio perdonare regalandovi uno still life.
Niente tacchi alti o mise eccessive. Ho puntato tutto sulla comodità e sul colore abbinando un paio di jeans, una canotta e le mie inseparabili Golden Goose a dei capi decisamente più eleganti, dando un tocco eccentrico con una maxi clutch fatta realizzare da me. Non poteva mancare un gioiello: una collana di perle e diamanti neri che io adoro usare come braccialetto.

Someone asked me what I was wearing during Mercedes "A Star Night" party: mea culpa! I was so absorbed by the event and the atmosphere that I completely forgot to show my look. Here is a still life for you.
No high heels or extreme mise. Comfort and color are the key words of my outfit; I matched a pair of jeans, a vest and my indivisible Golden Goose sneakers with more elegant clothes, giving an eccentric touch with my own design maxi clutch. The only jewel: a pearl and black diamond necklace I generally use as bracelet.

Sunny Sunday

Una domenica soleggiata ma ventosa, un passeggiata di prima mattina.

Il grigio è un colore passe-partout in ogni situazione, e la mia nuova giacca dallo stile marinaresco è l’ideale per questo clima di inizio primavera. Un tocco di colore: i sandali Balenciaga della stagione SS’11 in pelle e suede con dettagli panna e arancio, il tutto mixato con accessori vintage.

Grey is a passe-partout color and my new sailor’s jacket is perfect for this spring temperature. A touch of color: my SS’11 Balenciaga leather and suede sandals with cream and orange details. I’ve matched everything with vintage accessories.

Lost in Venice

Una gita inaspettata quella a Venezia ma sempre piacevolissima.

E’ incredibile come ogni volta che trascorro qualche giorno in laguna scopra sempre posti nuovi e affascinanti rimanendo immancabilmente stupefatta.

Adoro passare il tempo perdendomi per la città, scoprendo calli, ponti; fermandomi in qualche bacaro ad assaporare le specialità del luogo o visitando musei.

Un giretto per le vie dello shopping è sempre concesso: il mio percorso ha come obiettivo finale ammirare le vetrine della storica gioielleria Codognato a un passo da San Marco. Un negozio dal fascino di altri tempi di cui avrò presto modo di parlarvi. A Venezia è sempre opportuno vestirsi comodi, l‘ho scoperto a mie spese… Questa volta ho optato per un paio di jeans, una t-shirt, i miei nuovi mocassini di Charles Philip e la mia Birkin: un regalo inaspettato da parte di mia madre che mi ha lasciato senza fiato…;)

An unexpected weekend in the charming Venice.

It’s incredible, every time I pass some days in lagoon I always discover new amazing places.

I absolutely adore to spend the day get lost in the city, finding out “calli” and bridges; only stopping in some tipical bacaros to relish Venetian specialities or visiting museums.

A shopping trip is always permitted, my purpose consists in watching historic Codognato’s shop windows, a famous jewellery of other times near San Marco plaza but I’m going to speak about it soon. To live Venice is necessary a comfortable look, I realized it in my past vacations. This time I’ve chosen a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, my new Charles Philip’s loafers and my Birkin: an unsuspected gift from my mother, she left me breathless…;)

My first Post

Eccomi qui…che emozione!!! Queste foto le ho realizzate settimana scorsa in una domenica un po’ uggiosa…la pioggia mi stava facendo desistere dall’uscire ma ho aperto l’armadio e dopo un breve sguardo ho adocchiato cosa poteva fare al caso mio.

Il mio look è dettato da come mi sentivo in quel momento, avevo una pazza voglia di infilarmi un abito e una giacca di pelle, posso sembrare un po’ dark ma l’effetto non mi sembra male. Ultimamente gli occhiali di Moschino mi rappresentano molto. Ammetto di adorare gli occhiali, soprattutto da vista mentre i bracciali che indosso sono dei cari ricordi di famiglia, quello con le sterline è un regalo dei miei nonni mentre l’altro è un gioiello anni 50; e la borsa? Lady Dior in pelle nera, un acquisto azzeccatissimo di qualche anno fa…direi un’evergreen. Voi cosa ne pensate?..:)

I’m so excited, this is my first post!!! My love took these pictures last Sunday, it was a very rainy day…I was not going to come out but I opened my wardrobe and after a quick look I decided what was right for me.

My look represents my feeling at that moment, I just wanted to put on a dress and a leather jacket, maybe I seem a dark lady but I like this outfit.

In this period Moschino eyeglasses are my favourite, I absolutely adore glasses!

Bracelets are dear family gifts, the one with British sterlings is from my grandparents while the other one is a vintage bracelet from 50s; and what about the bag? Black leather Lady Dior, a really smart buy made some years ago…absolutely an evergreen. What do you think about? …:)
