Comfort and color: my "A Star Night" outfit

My outfit

 Mi è stato chiesto cosa indossavo durante la serata "A Star Night" di Mercedes: mea culpa! Ero così intenta a immortalare l'evento e l'atmosfera che si assaporava che ho completamente scordato di fotografare il mio look. Mi faccio perdonare regalandovi uno still life.
Niente tacchi alti o mise eccessive. Ho puntato tutto sulla comodità e sul colore abbinando un paio di jeans, una canotta e le mie inseparabili Golden Goose a dei capi decisamente più eleganti, dando un tocco eccentrico con una maxi clutch fatta realizzare da me. Non poteva mancare un gioiello: una collana di perle e diamanti neri che io adoro usare come braccialetto.

Someone asked me what I was wearing during Mercedes "A Star Night" party: mea culpa! I was so absorbed by the event and the atmosphere that I completely forgot to show my look. Here is a still life for you.
No high heels or extreme mise. Comfort and color are the key words of my outfit; I matched a pair of jeans, a vest and my indivisible Golden Goose sneakers with more elegant clothes, giving an eccentric touch with my own design maxi clutch. The only jewel: a pearl and black diamond necklace I generally use as bracelet.

Continua il mio piccolo resoconto dalla Versilia. Adoro la Toscana e ogni volta che trascorro qualche giorno a Marina di Pietrasanta mi sento rigenerata, più positiva e creativa. Vi regalo quindi qualche immagine e il mio outfit del giorno.
L'abito camicia è di mia creazione, generalmente lo indosso con i gemelli Veuve Clicquot (potete guardarli sulla mia pagina facebook del 30 luglio 2012), vi piace? Amo sperimentare e creare capi o accessori che mi possano rappresentare totalmente.
Le zeppe di Prada sono un regalo che mi sono concessa qualche estate fa, belle ma non comodissime..., la mia inseparabile Micro Metro bag di Roger Vivier in camoscio azzurro dà un tocco di colore, poco capiente ma sempre molto chic.

The white shirt dress is my own design, generally I wear it with Veuve Clicquot cuff links (you can see them on my facebook page 30 July 2012), do you like it? I love experimenting and creating clothes or accessories that represent myself at all.
Prada wedges are a gift I allowed myself some summers ago, beautiful but not so comfortable..., my inseparable Roger Vivier Micro Metro bag in azure suede gives a dash of color, surely not capacious but very very chic.

PRADA RAFIA BAGS: A LITTLE BIT OF SUMMER EVERYWHERE

 

Fortunatamente la tanto attesa estate è alle porte e in strada è possibile vedere trends e colori di stagione. C’è chi ha l’opportunità di trascorrere qualche giorno al mare e chi invece è costretto a rimanere in città. Ma una volta che il weekend finisce e bisogna tornare a lavoro e alla solita routine cosa possiamo indossare per sentirci comode ma al tempo stesso avere un look prettamente estivo? Per iniziare possiamo sfoggiare una delle nuove borse di Prada in rafia e rafia crochet. Coloratissime e divertenti vengono proposte sia con i manici che a clutch…un buon inizio direi!!!

Fortunately summer is coming and on the streets it’s possible to see seasonal trends and colors.

There’s who can spend some days by the sea and who is constrained to stay at home. But once the weekend ends, eventually we return to our regular Monday–Friday lives, when we’re going to work and face everyday routine, what can we wear on those days that is practical, but also keeps the feeling of summer close at hand? To start I suggest new Prada rafia and rafia crochet bags. Ultra colored and really funny they are proposed as handbags and clutches…this is only the beginning!!!

Lesson n°1: exaggerate!

La moda di quest’anno ci propone accessori esagerati, più luccicano e sono scintillanti e sfacciati meglio è; l’abbiamo visto alle sfilate, un po’ meno in città ma i magazines li impongono in ogni scatto fotografico. I più riconosciuti? Quelli di Prada, Lanvin e Vionnet.

Oggi vi propongo il mio gioiello per la stagione SS’12: il collier anni ’40 tempestato di cristalli preziosi acquistato da Demaldé a Milano, in Brera.

Sono fan dei bijoux di Demaldé da anni, già quando li vedevo indosso a mia madre e per me era un po’ prematuro. Adesso li sfoggio con semplicità, sia di giorno che di sera, rispecchiano il mio mood e il mio modo di essere, l’importante è trovare la giusta sintonia con l’oggetto tanto da farlo diventare parte integrante di sé. Il negozio possiede un’ampia selezione di spille, collane e diademi d'epoca, oltre ad una selezione di bigiotteria contemporanea; è sempre magico osservare i cassetti stracolmi di meraviglie di ogni colore, forma e misura, ogni singolo pezzo racconta la sua storia.

Spring summer fashion trends suggest excessive accessories, the more they are sparkling and cheeky better it is; we’ve seen this phenomenon on catwalks, less in city but magazines impose them each shoot. The most famous? The ones of Prada, Lanvin and Vionnet.

Today I’m gonna show you my own SS’12 jewel: forties collier completely studded with precious crystals, I bought it at Demaldé’s in Brera, Milan.

I’m a big fan of Demaldé’s jewels since my mother wore them several years ago and unfortunately I was too little.

Now I can show them with simplicity, both day and night, they reflect my mood and my way of being; important is to be in tune with the object so that it becomes part of you. The shop proposes a huge selection of brooches, necklaces and diadems and a good quantity of contemporary bijoux. It’s always charming to observe drawers full of colored wonders, different for shapes and measure, each single item owns its history.
