Frivoliciouz in Florence part 2

L'indecisione è stata forte... Coprirmi al massimo per evitare il freddo o affrontare il vento sferzante di questi giorni e indossare un abitino? Lo so, non è facile vedermi in abito o gonna, questo perchè sono una ragazza tendenzialmente pratica che veste per lo più jeans e pantaloni ma nel guardaroba ho un sacco di capi più femminili.

Un viaggetto a Firenze mi è sembrata l'occasione adatta per indossarli. Archiviata la mini tuta a disegni optical di Jovonna (la vedrete prossimamente sul blog) ho deciso di indossare un mini abito di Givenchy di qualche anno fa. E' semplicissimo, un capo passepartout da abbinare sia a tacchi che a scarpe più informali. In questo caso eccomi con i miei comodissimi mocassini maschili di Valentino.

Ok!!! Adesso sono pronta per lasciarmi incantare dalle meraviglie di questa città! ;)

A very strong indecision... Is it better to cover myself with warm clothes or face the driving wind of these days and wear a dress? I perfectly know it's not ordinary to see me wearing dresses or skirts, this is because I generally use comfortable garments like jeans and trousers but my closet is full of very many feminine clothes too.

A little journey in Florence is the right occasion to wear them except for my new optical Jovonna shortalls (very soon on the blog), it's too cold for it. Here I am with my Givenchy little black dress bought some years ago but still very actual. It's so simple and chic, perfect with high heels or flat shoes like my Valentino patent leather loafers for example. 

Well, now I'm ready to wander around this amazing city! ;)

Il Natale è passato senza nemmeno accorgersene... E' sempre così! Grandi preparativi e poi tutto si consuma nel giro di pochissimo tempo.

In questi giorni di meritata vacanza ho avuto l'opportunità di godere anche di piccole cose, come sorseggiare un aperitivo sotto casa. E del resto cosa c'è di meglio di un bicchiere di vino rosso per combattere il freddo e far tornare il buon umore? ;)

Mi sono vestita in fretta e furia ma non vedevo l'ora di fare qualche scatto con i miei nuovissimi ankle boots di Givenchy, acquistati ieri da Excelsior a Milano in saldo (ne vado molto fiera) e la nuova Chanellina color rosso ciliegia... La adoro!!! Per il resto il mio look è semplice con un tocco newyorkese dato dall'immancabile parka verde militare.

 

Christmas days are gone in a while... So there! Great preparations and at the end it wears out in short time.

During this holiday I've had the opportunity of enjoying the small things like drinking an aperitif near home. And what's better than a glass of red wine to face cold weather and be in a good mood? ;)

I've got ready in a rush but I was looking forward to make some pictures of my new Givenchy ankle boots bought on sale yesterday at Excelsior in Milan (I'm very proud of them) and my new mini cherry red Chanel bag... i just adore it!!!

Overall my look is very simple with a new yorker touch given by the unfailing hunter green parka.

Agosto. La colonnina di mercurio segna temperature africane. Certamente il desiderio di indossare un paio di griffatissimi occhiali in pelliccia di Givenchy potrebbe essere l’ultimo dei pensieri, ma si sa… In fatto di moda bisogna giocare d’anticipo… Quindi, a patto di possedere $1200 e non sapere proprio come spenderli, non vi resta che ordinarli!

August. The thermometer records African temperatures. Surely the desire of wearing a pair of ultra branded Givenchy fur frames could be the last thought but we all know…With fashion you need to act in advance… So, if you own $1200 and absolutely don’t know how to spend money, you’ve got to place the order!

FW 12-13: GIVENCHY BOOTS ROCK

Sono molto felice di poter dedicare il primo “Pick of the Week” della prossima stagione invernale agli stivali di Givenchy, già entrati nella mia personale wish list.

Riccardo Tisci non si smentisce mai presentando una collezione dagli accenti gotici e con influenze equestri. I boots al ginocchio hanno una guaina che li ricopre interamente nascondendo anche il tacco. Vengono proposti in pelle e cavallino monocolore o con dettagli a contrasto e in varie tonalità: dal nero al cacao e caramello fino al rosso fuoco per una donna sicura di sé e che non ha timore di osare. Sono perfetti da abbinare sia ad abiti e gonne che a pantaloni per un look 100% rock. Speriamo solo che stiano bene alle piccoline come me…;)

I’m really happy to dedicate first next fall-winter season “Pick of the Week” to Givenchy boots, already in my personal wish list.

Riccardo Tisci is always true to type presenting a collection with gothic accents and equestrian influences. Boots are knee-high with heel-covering sheaths and are perfect fitted with dresses, skirts and pants. They are proposed in leather and plain colored fur or with contrast details and different shades: black, brown, caramel and flame red for self-confident women who looks 100% rock. I only wish boots suit good on tiny girls just like me…;)
