Autumn in Piedmont: it's truffle time!

Vi piace il tartufo?

Dire che mi piace è poco! Il suo gusto particolare mi fa impazzire e ogni anno in questo periodo mi concedo un weekend enogastronomico in Piemonte, dove è possibile assaporare il famoso "Tartufo bianco d'Alba".

La location è mozzafiato, borghi e paesini immersi nella campagna fanno da cornice a una delle manifestazioni più importanti della stagione autunnale. Lascio spazio alle immagini, dunque! 

Qui mi trovo in località Roccaverano. La temperatura è abbastanza mite. Ho deciso di indossare uno dei miei soprabiti preferiti, è di Miu Miu ed ha una valenza particolare perchè è stato un acquisto azzeccatissimo fatto col mio primo stipendio.
La pashmina in cashmere e pizzo è di Valentino, la porto sempre con me perchè caldissima ed elegante in qualsiasi occasione, anche con un outfit sportivo.
Gli stivaletti di Nine West li ho acquistati a New York, sono molto comodi, ve lo posso garantire... E la borsa? Birkin di Hermes... Ormai siamo inseparabili!

 

Do you like truffles?

I don't simply like them, I adore that particular flavour and every year in this period I spend a wine and food weekend in Piedmont, where is possible to relish the famous variety of "Alba white Truffle".

The location was breathtaking; villages surrounded by the green countryside set one of the most important fall event off. Look at the images now! 

Here I was in Roccaverano. The temperature was quite mild. I decided to wear one of my favorite Miu Miu overcoat ever, it has a special value because I bought it with my first salary.
My Valentino pashmina is made in cashmere and lace, I take it always with me because it's very warm and elegant with every outfit, with casual clothes too.
I purchased Nine West ankle boots in New York, they are very comfortable, I can assure it... And the handbag? Hermes Birkin... We're indivisible by now!

Lost in Venice

Una gita inaspettata quella a Venezia ma sempre piacevolissima.

E’ incredibile come ogni volta che trascorro qualche giorno in laguna scopra sempre posti nuovi e affascinanti rimanendo immancabilmente stupefatta.

Adoro passare il tempo perdendomi per la città, scoprendo calli, ponti; fermandomi in qualche bacaro ad assaporare le specialità del luogo o visitando musei.

Un giretto per le vie dello shopping è sempre concesso: il mio percorso ha come obiettivo finale ammirare le vetrine della storica gioielleria Codognato a un passo da San Marco. Un negozio dal fascino di altri tempi di cui avrò presto modo di parlarvi. A Venezia è sempre opportuno vestirsi comodi, l‘ho scoperto a mie spese… Questa volta ho optato per un paio di jeans, una t-shirt, i miei nuovi mocassini di Charles Philip e la mia Birkin: un regalo inaspettato da parte di mia madre che mi ha lasciato senza fiato…;)

An unexpected weekend in the charming Venice.

It’s incredible, every time I pass some days in lagoon I always discover new amazing places.

I absolutely adore to spend the day get lost in the city, finding out “calli” and bridges; only stopping in some tipical bacaros to relish Venetian specialities or visiting museums.

A shopping trip is always permitted, my purpose consists in watching historic Codognato’s shop windows, a famous jewellery of other times near San Marco plaza but I’m going to speak about it soon. To live Venice is necessary a comfortable look, I realized it in my past vacations. This time I’ve chosen a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, my new Charles Philip’s loafers and my Birkin: an unsuspected gift from my mother, she left me breathless…;)
