Ormai non si parla d’altro… Da mesi fashion bloggers e non postano proprie immagini con le Beckett e le Willows ai piedi; c’è chi punta a colori basici e chi osa di più, ma non tutti sono amanti delle sneakers con il rialzo.
Proviamo a organizzare una competition: quelle di Isabel Marant, iper fashion e introvabili vs Golden Goose, le tennis made in Venezia, riconoscibili e amate per la particolare stella sui fianchi. Quale brand uscirà vincitore?
Sono sincera, mi piacciono entrambe; sono fan da anni delle Golden Goose, sia che esse siano in pelle, suede o canvas perché, a parer mio, sono riuscite a dare un valore aggiunto alla classica scarpa a tennis; per i colori, sempre diversi e irriverenti ma portabilissimi e per le applicazioni: basti pensare a quelle dell’attuale stagione SS '12 con borchie arrotondate o tessuto rinfrangente.
Del resto le Willows/Beckett rappresentano la rivoluzione, scopiazzate ormai da tutti ma si sa: ai propri piedi non si può non avere le originali. Il prezzo è comunque alto ma, a quanto pare, siamo tutte disposte a mettere mano al portafogli. Sta a voi la scelta, io per essere sicura mi sono già messa in lista d’attesa…e voi? Cosa aspettate?

Ok let’s start a competition: Isabel Marant’s, iper fashion and impossible to find vs Golden Goose, tennis shoes made in Venice, recognizable and loved for the peculiar star on sides. Who is gonna win?
I’m honest, I like both; I’m a Golden Goose fan since years; because of the fabric: as it is leather, suede or canvas and because the brand has finally given a surplus value to classical tennis shoes.
This is due to colors, always different and irreverent but absolutely wearable, and to embroideries: suffice is to think about new SS’12 styles with rounded studs or reflector texture.
At the same time Willows/Beckett shoes represent the revolution, they are worldwide perfectly imitated but we all know we can fit only the original ones.
The price in both cases is high but as it seems we are all willing to put one’s hand in one’s pocket.
