Secondo capitolo del viaggio di Frivoliciouz a Karpathos.
Destinazione finale è Olympos, un paesino caratteristico arroccato sulla montagna a un'altitudine di 300 mt. Il percorso per raggiungerlo è stato imprevedibile e affascinante; alla guida di una Jimny cabrio abbiamo viaggiato per circa due ore, su strade a volte impervie e a strapiombo sul mare.
Il paese si intravede abbarbicato sulle rocce, un paesaggio incantevole con una
vista splendida sulle colline circostanti e sul mare.
Le viuzze e le casette bianche sono mute protagoniste della storia di Olympos; ai bordi delle strade i negozietti di souvenir si susseguono uno via l'altro, ognuno con la sua particolarità.
Ma la protagonista della gita, non mi pare ancora vero, è stata la mia borsa: apprezzata tantissimo dalla gente del luogo per i suoi ricami e per i colori vivi che ricordano i colori tipici karpaziani, tanto da chiedermi dove l'avevo acquistata e come era possibile trovarne una simile. Ma ora basta parlare, ci sono immagini che riescono a descrivere con maggior intensità i luoghi, i profumi e lo stile del posto... Lasciatevi conquistare!
Second chapter of Frivoliciouz journey in Karpathos.
Final destination is Olympos, a typical small village on the mountain, 300 mts above sea-level.
The way to reach it has been unpredictable and amazing; on a convertible Jimny Jeep we've driven on inaccessible streets for about two hours. The town is visible on the rocks, an enchanting landscape with a gorgeous panorama on surrounding hills and sea.
The alleys and little houses are silent actors of Olympos history. On the streets gift shops follow one another nearby, each of it with its peculiarity.
But my bag has obtained the leading role of this excursion, I really can't believe it! Lots of people has appreciate it thanks to its embroideries and bright colors that remember traditional karpathian colors. Many people have asked me where to buy it.
But now stop talking, there are images that can better describe places, scents and the soul of Olympos. Let yourself be enchanted!
